A Playful Evening Filled with Laughter and Creativity
On 10th August 2025, Lifeplus Magazine had the privilege of attending A Playful Evening for You — a truly unique and refreshing event that broke away from the norms of a typical musical evening or movie night. Hosted by Ishita Sanyal, Director of Turning Point, in collaboration with Single Minded EduServe, the program brought together people from diverse walks of life to celebrate the spirit of play in adulthood.
The evening was an engaging blend of recitations, impromptu performances, and humorous expressions, where participants not only showcased their creativity but also connected with the audience through spontaneous moments of joy. One of the most memorable acts was a lively performance depicting a meeting between two people after 15 years, brilliantly portrayed by Mr. Abhishek Ganguly and Ms. Sumita Mallik. Their playful and witty interactions had the audience laughing wholeheartedly.
What made the event stand out was its focus on exploring the impact of play in adult life — reminding everyone that fun, creativity, and light-heartedness have a place in our everyday lives.
