FACADE OF DECEIT – A Dark Tale of Love, Betrayal & Manipulation
The world of independent cinema is about to witness yet another gripping story unfold on YouTube. Souradip Ghosh Films, in association with Live Lens Production and Innovative Impression Films, is bringing to the screen a psychological thriller drama that promises to leave audiences questioning the very nature of trust and human relationships.
Titled “FACADE OF DECEIT”, the film is written and directed by Souradip Ghosh, who also plays the lead role of Vikas. At first glance, Vikas and his wife Rajani (played by Pallavi Roy) appear to have a picture-perfect married life. But behind the closed doors of their home lies a dangerous web of secrets, blackmail, and betrayal.
The turning point arrives when Vikas’s brother Anubhab (Anupam Das) enters the picture. With compromising videos of the couple in his possession, he extorts Vikas for money, turning their peaceful lives into a nightmare. But as the story progresses, the audience is drawn deeper into a world where nothing is as it seems.
In a chilling sequence of twists, it is revealed that Rajani and Anubhab were once lovers—each now plotting to eliminate the other. Rajani poisons Anubhab during an intimate encounter, only to discover that Anubhab too has poisoned her drink. The final blow comes when both are left lifeless, and Vikas—standing over their bodies—delivers a haunting monologue. His words expose a cold and calculated plan, proving that beneath his innocent facade lies a master manipulator who orchestrated every move to protect his own secrets.
With themes of deceit, betrayal, and the darkest layers of human desire, Facade of Deceit is more than just a thriller—it is an unsettling reflection on how far people can go to protect themselves.
Adding to the film’s intensity is the background score by A Priyabrata Musical, and the creative vision is guided by Sinjan Mukherjee as Creative Head. The collaboration of three production houses—Souradip Ghosh Films, Live Lens Production, and Innovative Impression Films—ensures a cinematic experience that is both sharp in execution and layered in storytelling.
