Open Book – Poem by Mithi Das
I open myself like a book today,
No fear, no shadows left inside.
Every page whispers who I am—
My joys, my tears, my quiet pride.
Once I hid my fragile words,
Afraid they’d break if someone knew.
But now my heart feels light again,
For truth has made me brave and new.
Each chapter holds a gentle glow,
Stories brushed with hope and grace.
I turn the pages without fear,
Love has softened every space.
Read me slowly, read me true—
In every line my soul will shine.
For I am no longer locked away…
I am an open book,
And the story is finally mine.
