The Story of Preeti and Pratik
This is the story of Preeti, a student at Samli School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Preeti was as beautiful as she was intelligent, with big dreams of making her name known to the world.
One day, the principal introduced a new boy to her class—Pratik. Handsome and charming, he was the grandson of the school’s trustee. The girls were instantly drawn to him, and even Preeti couldn’t stop herself from staring. At that age, emotions are hard to control.
Pratik wasn’t fond of studies but loved enjoying life. By chance, Preeti and Pratik were paired together for a major school project on “How to Stop Pollution.” At first, Pratik ignored her, but gradually their friendship grew deeper.
Preeti mistook this friendship for love and secretly began to dream of a future with him. But Pratik made it clear—he didn’t believe in relationships, scarred by the constant fights between his parents. Still, he valued Preeti as his best friend.
Time passed. Three months later, at the college Christmas party, Preeti danced with another boy. Seeing this, Pratik was overcome with anger and jealousy. In that moment, he realized he had fallen in love with her. The next day, he proposed.
Preeti was shocked but accepted with joy. Pratik confessed, “I was afraid of relationships, but you taught me to trust again. With you, everything feels right.”
From that day, their friendship blossomed into love. And as the saying goes—when love is true, it always finds its way.
