About the festival
Ritu Rangam Film Festival is a homage to the cinematic vision of the Indian filmmaker Late Rituparno Ghosh. The festival strives to the much-needed
platform to indie filmmakers across the globe to showcase their creative pursuits to the group of serious cine-lovers. RRFF also provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their films, and connect with local industry professionals. RRFF screens films by filmmakers of all genders, races, and backgrounds every year. Every filmmaker is welcomed and encouraged to submit their films to this film festival. Rules & Regulations
- The 6th edition of Ritu Rangam Film Festival 2023 is going to be
competitive. - The festival will be held on 12th & 13th August,2023 at Barasat,Kolkata
- Submission starts from 11.11.2022
- There are awards (trophies & certificates) for below mentioned categories. 1. Best Short Film 2. Best Documentary Film 3.Best Script of Documentary
4.Best Voice Over Artist (Documentary) 5. Best Music Video 6. Best
Concept 7. Best Director 8. Best Actor (M) 9. Best Actor(F) 10. Best
Supporting Actor(M), 11. Best Supporting Actor(F), 12. Best Child Actor 13. Best Editor 14. Best Cinematographer 15. Best Sound Designer 16. Best
Music 17. Special jury Award - Every filmmakers (Screened & Non Screened Films both) will get
certificate from RRFF 2023 - The filmmakers who are willing to submit their films are requested to
submit downloadable link of full film, trailers, posters, synopsis, director’s
id proof & contact details to us through email. * If your film will be selected to screen at our festival, we’ll send you a
confirmation email. YOU NEED TO REMEMBER - Maximum duration for short films: 30 minutes. *A filmmaker can submit multiple films. * The films which were already screened at previous years of our festival, will be refused. * Decision made by festival committee will be final. * Festival authority doesn’t take the responsibility of copyrighted items.
- Ritu Rangam reserves the right to accept or reject any entries without
assigning any reason. * You can pay the submission fees through offline (in cash) or through
online upi payments (Google pay/phonpe). You also can deposit the
submission fees to the bank account of Ritu Rangam Natyakendra. * Submitted films can’t be withdrawn. * Date & venue may be changed due to some reason. ◆Submission Fees◆
